If the Biden administration was actually serious about its claims to care about Palestinian civilians and how it instructed Israel to protect civilian lives, the mass killing Israel has engaged in over the past 48 hours would result in an immediate cutting off of support. But, of course, that’s not how the US operates toward Israel. And all these platitudes they’ve offered about concern for Palestinian lives are just that.
